Our South Shields bed and breakfast accommodation offers a choice of single, double, twin, triple and four person family rooms either en suite with an internal private bathroom or standard using a shared bathroom. Standard bedrooms have a sink with hot and cold running water.
Since 2008 we have had memory foam mattresses on every bed, these were all renewed/replaced with new memory foam mattresses in January 2020.
Why choose to sleep on a memory-foam mattress over a traditional sprung mattress? Unlike sprung mattresses memory foam mattresses are 100% anti-micriobial and dust-mite resistant - important to consider when choosing to sleep in a hotel bed. Because of their anti-allergy properties memory foam mattresses are ideal for allergy sufferers or asthmatics.
Additionally all our mattresses are encased in anti-allergy anti-bed bug comfortable cotton-like non-rustle, waterproof protectors that are completely bed bug proof providing a barrier against hair, dust mites, allergen-causing bacteria; mould; mildew, germs and pollen.

We welcome babies and children of all ages. We recommend choosing an en suite bedroom when staying with infants as these rooms all have ample floor space for travel cots. You can bring your own or hire ours for £5 per stay (not per night). We will supply cot linen and a towel along with the travel cot.
