Boldon Business Park in South Tyneside is only a few minutes drive from our bed and breakfast accommodation. Boldon Business Park is one of the North East's most successful business parks, with a diverse mix of office, leisure and retail industries. Many services for industries such as ICT are situated in and around the business park for example "Webbed ICT".

Boldon Business Park is situated just off the A19, approachable from the North and the South. It is three miles south of the Tyne Tunnel and the A194. Boldon Business Park has grown into one of the North East's most successful business parks. The development offers industrial and office premises with adjacent retail and leisure outlets a few minutes walk away. The business park is immediately off the A19 at Testos roundabout so is adjacent to both Tyneside and Wearside.

As well as business units the business park contains an eleven screen Cineworld multiplex cinema, a 24-hour ASDA supermarket, The Storybook pub on Abingdon Way NE35 9PB and a few restaurants including Frankie and Benny's and the newly re-opened Boldon Quality Hotel.

The Quadrus Centre at Boldon Business Park is one of the most striking pieces of architecture in the area.

The Quadrus Centre, NE35 9PF (pictured above) is a £5 million state-of-the-art office development. The building overlooks the lake and was completed in May 2005. The distinctive cedar-clad, cube shapes of this hi-tech building which can be seen from the A19 transformed the gateway to the borough and the iconic building is being seen as a high profile symbol of South Tyneside's future development.
