The Life Science Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne is situated immediately adjacent to Central Station (turn left when you exit the train station) opposite St Mary's Cathederal and Clayton Street West. The closest Metro and regional train station is Central which is 20 minutes travel time from our guest house accommodation. If you are driving to the Centre For Life then we recommend using the Times Square Car Park (NE4 7AD) which is adjacent to the Redheugh Bridge.

Newcastle's Centre For Life opened in 2000 and comprises the Biomedicine West Wing incorporating Newcastle Fertility centre (NHS) and Newcastle University; Biomedicine East Wing and Northern Genetics Service (NHS) incorporating the Institute of Genetic Medicine (Newcastle University); Life Educational Laboratories; Life Conference & Banqueting; Science Centre and Life Science Centre, café and shop.
