Annie's Guest House is centrally located in South Shields close to Bents Park and Bents Recreation Ground. Bents Park being the main concert venue for the free annual South Tyneside Summer Festival. Our accommodation is just a few hundred metres from South Marine Park and the adjacent North Marine Park, both of these include numerous children's outdoor activity areas.

Our South Shields Guest House is just a few hundred yards from South Marine Park where you can find a boating lake with ducks and swans, a miniature steam railway and child climbing/play area. North Marine Park is adjacent to South Marine Park and is just a few minutes walk from our Guest House. You can see a video of South Marine Park's miniture steam railway here...

Our family-friendly guest house is within close walking distance of North Marine Park where you can find bowling greens, several outdoor activity areas for children and a putting green. Ocean Beach Pleasure Park is located at the bottom of the street offering fairground rides, amusement arcades, Laser Quest and a bowling alley all five minutes walk from us.

Newly opened Haven Point Leisure Centre swimming pool is less ten minutes walk from us and is very popular with our younger guests.
