Our guest house accommodation is located 5 miles south east of Orion Business Park the home of AIS Training aka Advanced Industrial Solutions, Units 3 & 4 Jupiter Court, Orion Business Park, North Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE29 7SE. Orion Business Park and AIS Training on Jupiter Court can be reached by car via the A194, A19 and A193 road routes. Driving time is 12-15 minutes depending on traffic and time of day.

Advanced Industrial Solutions aka AIS Training is a brand new state of the art 120,000 sq ft Offshore Survival Centre training facility located adjacent to AIS's headquarters on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate in North Shields. AIS Training delivers world-class specialist training for the offshore oil & gas, wind energy and industrial sectors to thousands of delegates a year. AIS Training's Offshore Survival Centre was built to cope with the growing demand for safety training courses for offshore workers. The Offshore Survival Centre is adjacent to the company’s existing 120,000 sq ft learning village. AIS also has a new emergency response and fire-fighting facility at OTN, Newcastle International Airport (NCL).

AIS Training's Offshore Survival Centre has an environmental swimming pool, fire training centre and lifeboat & davit system. The centre trains workers from the offshore oil and gas, wind and maritime sectors in how to respond in the event of an emergency at sea or on an offshore installation. Courses at the centre allow deligates to learn survival techniques for emergency scenarios such as a helicopter ditching at sea, sea survival, escaping from a smoke filled environment, using escape chutes and evacuating via a lifeboat. There are also classrooms, meeting rooms, changing facilities and a restaurant at the training facility.

AIS Training offers one of the world's largest training portfolios for the offshore sector including industry-approved courses in rigging; rope access; blasting & painting; PFP fire protection; CompEx electrical and mechanical engineering and mechanical joint integrity courses as well as many other safety and industrial training courses which are endorsed by the world's leading trade associations including IRATA, OPITO, SPRAT, MCA, IOSH and Renewables UK
