Our B&B in South Shields is relaxed and friendly, offering clean, comfortable, quality accommodation at very competitive rates.

We are a completely non-smoking guest house. All our rooms have solid wood beds with comfortable memory-foam mattresses, double-glazed, opening windows with black-out roller blinds, individual temperature controls, work desk, chair & lamp, free wireless internet, cooling fan, large flat-screen digital TV's with Freeview, tea/coffee/biscuit tray, hairdryer, toiletries, iron and ironing board, big soft 'bath sheet' size towels, use of guest fridge and microwave, 24/7 access - no curfew or lockouts.

Our South Shields B&B serves a Full English Breakfast (freshly cooked to order) from 7am seven days a week. Special diets (gluten/wheat-free, milk-free, Vegan, Vegetarian etc.) can be catered for. A guest fridge and microwave are also available.

South Tyneside is an ideal place to base your stay in Tyne & Wear. We are just a few minutes drive from the A1, A19 and Tyne Tunnel making Durham, Gateshead, Gateshead Metrocentre, Hebburn, Jarrow, Newcastle Airport, Newcastle upon Tyne city centre, North Shields, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland, Tynemouth and Washington all quick and easy to get to.

Our accommodation is a few minutes walk from South Tyneside College and the Marine Safety Training Centre. Tyne Dock / Port of Tyne and South Tyneside Hospital are a few minutes away by car and public transport. We are within close walking distance of both hotels in South Shields - Little Haven Hotel and Best Western Sea Hotel in South Shields.

Our South Shields Guest House is just a short walk from three parks, Sandhaven and Little Haven beaches, Ocean Road, King Street shopping area, dozens of restaurants, take-aways and family-friendly pubs. South Shields Bus Station, South Shields Metro Station and the Shields Ferry are all within ten minutes walk.

South Shields is part of the rapid and frequent Tyne and Wear Metro (train) system that links us to Gateshead, Hebburn, Jarrow, Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle Airport, North Shields, South Shields, St James' Park, Sunderland and Tynemouth. South Shields to Newcastle upon Tyne Central Station is just 20 minutes by Metro.

Our South Shields B&B has a full fire certificate and our training includes first aid, food hygiene and fluent British Sign Language (BSL).
